10/8/10, Friday

Spent the morning making plans for our upcoming Italy trip. Found a really neat B&B to stay in located in the Tuscany countryside that is close by bus to Florence. It is a 14th century farmhouse where they breed horses, produce olive oil and red wine (that is shared with the guests).  Should be really fun. Also went into Strasbourg to the train station (again) to schedule a trip to Amboise, France. This is located in the Loire Valley region where there are some fabulous castles. I will put out lots of pictures from these upcoming weekends and tell you all about it.

From there Taylor and I went to the Orangerie, the park in Strasbourg and wandered around waiting for Eric to meet us for a picnic dinner. He was tied up late at work, so it was a bit chilly by the time he arrived, so we just headed back for home to eat dinner and get ready for Taylor's birthday weekend. She asked to go to the Zoo and Aquarium on Saturday and then the Europark on Sunday. Should be a good time, the weather looks promising.
